  1. Installment Requirements to run JewelPro
  2.  
  3. Pentium 90 or Higher, Min. 24 MB of memory
  4. 20 MB of free disk space Higher Recommended
  5. Windows 95/98/WinMe/Win2000/WinNT
  6. Running 24 bit High Color Recommended
  7. Color Printer
  8. You must have Internet Explorer 3.0 or Higher Recommended
  9. (current version available as of this writing is IE 5.5) installed 
  10. (but does not have to be the default viewer) to view the help files.

  12. Unzip the contents of the JPCDL.ZIP file into an empty or temp folder
  13. start the installation process by double clicking the Setup file.
  14. If you receive a dialog saying some files are out of date and you will have to 
  15. restart.(This is due to if your system does not have the latest visual basic 6 runtime files installed)
  16. Click ok after you reboot run the setup program again.
  17. Choose a directory to install to JewelPro will run from any directory you
  18. choose except the Root Drive example of a Root Drive(C:\).
  19. How ever it is recommended you install to the default chosen.
  20. Default: \Program Files\JewelPro

  22. Install problems:
  23. If you have to reboot due to some files being out of date then
  24. if after you reboot and you continue to receive
  25. an error saying it cannot read source file RBT####.tmp file
  26. Step 1:
  27. Delete the Setup.exe file
  28. Step 2:
  29. Within the same folder you will find the file AltSetup.exe
  30. rename this file to: Setup.exe
  31. and then retry the installation
